Nominations are now being sought for the 2011 Iowa Wild Rose
Award. This literary award will honor an author/illustrator of books for children/young adults. Please see http://www.iowawildroseaward.com for criteria/qualifications.
The award will be presented May 7th of each year -- the date the Iowa Wild Rose was named the state flower (in 1897)
It is preferred that nominations be sent electronically to committee@iowawildroseaward.com.
However, nominations may also be mailed. Mailed nominations
should be sent on 8x11 paper, unfolded in a flat envelope, to:

The deadline for nominations for the 2011 award is December 1, 2010.
Please include the following information for each nominated author/illustrator:
- Author/illustrator name-
- Nominator's name/address/city/state-
- Nominator's phone number and e-mail address-
- Nominator's affiliation (if applicable)-
- Bibliography of author/illustrator's book-
- Please list your reasons for nominating this individual (100-500 words).
- Please include contact information for the
author/illustrator, if available.
